Default Base plate setup for JK

Hello,

I am looking for opinions on what the best option is for a base plate to tow our 2010 Sahara JK behind the Motorhome. I have looked at the Roadmaster, Blue OX, Demco, and Currie base plates but I am little concerned how all of them hang below the bumper. I am afraid I could damage them going off road. At this point I do not plan on going rock crawling, but I have found I should never say never.

Another option that I am considering is a Hanson Mid bumper. My concerns with this option is 1. Will the D-ring mounts work to mount a towbar? I know I will need to get some customer clevis' to fit the D-ring mounts but will these mounts hold up to towing the jeep 5 - 10K miles a year. 2. I am planning on using the Ready Brute towbar so I am not sure how I will be able to route the brake cable around the Hanson bumper.

Thanks in advance for any input you might offer.

I've got the Roadmaster set up on mine. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Here's mine with the Roadmaster Brackets. The bottom of these brackets on my set up are just about 18" from the ground. I hope this helps.
