Default BB with 33s PLEASE HELP

Ok I am getting my 285/75/16 install tomorrow.

In the next month or so I will be ordering either a 2" or a 2.5" BB. I have a headache from reading so much.

I was looking at the Quadratec website and they have about 7 or 8 different options from low $200 to mid $500.

I saw that there are about 3 different Teraflex options

With shocks?

No shocks, but shock adapters

I most likely will get the ones without shocks because I want to get the Rancho shocks later on.

Which one have you guys used.

Please, what do you recomend?

Where to get them?

Thanks

I would go with a 2.5" BB. That way you can install 35s in the future by simply installing a 1" body lift to eliminate any rubbing.

If you're going to upgrade to Rancho shocks later then just get the shock adapters for now. You probably won't even notice a difference from stock.

As far as brands go, the only BB I have experience with is the TeraFlex 2.5". It's a really complete kit for a BB and I would recommend it.

Everyone on here raves about how friendly and helpful David is at Northridge4x4.com. He's a member of the forum so look him up and ask him what he thinks.

Not to confuse you even more but TF is coming out with a 4 coil 2.5" lift in late June. After researching for the past several months, I have decided to wait until then and pick it up.

Do you know what the cost of the new TF 4 coil 2.5" lift will be?

The catalog entry for their new system is below. You can go to http://www.teraflex.biz and look at or download their catalog.

I like this option any idea where I can get it?

The shocks adapters are because the coils will spread the shocks too much??

So if I get this with the adapters I could later on replace the stock shocks with the ranchos

Thanks for all the help

What shocks are most people using?

Rancho?
TF?
RE?

I've always heard that ranchos are very good

Do you all think that an alignment will be needed after installing the 2.5 coil lift?
