I have been going through this debate for about a week now and priced both individually.

If you get the TF kit, you will get:

Extended bump stops
Brake line relocation kit
Rear swaybar links
Rear trackbar bracket

Those items don't come on the RC kit.

If you go with the RC kit and want to add some items, MINUS the rear swaybar links, it'll be $370 buying from RC and Quadratec. That's for the RC kit WITH shocks, Superlift brake line brackets, and TF rear swaybar bracket.

So, you can make hybrid setup for a few dollars less than the TF kit, and still have close to the same parts.

I have the RC 2.5 BB. It is a nice lift, but I added a few things. I added the 2.2 shocks, because the weight from my front bumper was bottoming out the stock shocks with extensions. I added a rear sway bar drop bracket (made it for $10). I added longer braided brake lines, bc I hate the drop brackets. I also added skyjacker double disco's up front. Due to the weight in the front end (bumper is 140lbs and winch is 93lbs), I am replacing the front springs with OME. This should level it out and make it ride better. It might have taken me a little more time to get it right, but now I have exactly what I want in both appearence and function.

I also heard that a lot of guys are having a negative rake problem with the TF 3 inch coils. Be careful, you don't want your JK's headlights pointing at the stars.

I think it could be done a more objetive appreciation if anybody provide the collapse/extended lenghts for the RC 2.2 shocks...

The Teraflex are:

PART # (LIFT ") EXTENDED/COLLAPSED

1553200 (2.5"-3") FRONT 26.89 /16.51
1554200 (2.5"-3") REAR 28.09 /17.25

1553400 (4") FRONT 30.89 /18.52
1554400 (4") REAR 32.09 /19.25

1553600 (6") FRONT 34.9 /20.55
1554600 (6") REAR 34.59 /21.25

Nice. Care to explain?

Also TeraFlex has 6 different 2.5" kits unlike anyone else. We give our customers more choices to build a kit their way (by buying a more basic kit) or to buy a more complete kit with coils/shocks.

Rarely do you find an individual that has such a mastery of logic, understanding and the ability to communicate... KSK way to open mouth and insert foot. Be careful though if you pay too much attention to what people are saying you may learn something.

Better explanation. KSK has been snorting too much helium!!!!!! There are alot of good kits out there. My personal preference is a good kit with a company that provides exceptional service. For me, Teraflex fit the bill! Between TF and Northridge stepping up to the plate, I am quite pleased.

All your explanations KSK are entered under the category of "horseshyt"! People here are looking for good quality advise. Yours went out the window long ago. Please try to help your fellow jeepers with good sound facts and let them decide on brand or make. Have a great day!!!!

No just personal experience boys, take it or leave it....

I repeat i have wheeled both and the RC rides better both on and off road....
Im not the type to sit and write essays.... it was the 2.5 TF with TF shocks and it was the RC 2.5 with 2.2 shocks... Im still waiting for a flex pic from TF that out-does the RC lift.....
