Default BB and ride quality

How is the ride quality with a BB setup? I had a older ZJ and put a BB on it and it rode like a semi after that. Now that may be because I was still on 1993 factory springs. I dont go wheelin much, but I love the lifted look, and the ability to go wheeling if I wanted. I like the stock ride.

I would assume depending on the shocks used, there shouldn't be much of a difference, as all you're doing is making your jeep sit a little taller.

Around the corners I bet it'd be a little tippier, as the the weight has shifted higher up.

Waylands right about the ride. I have a 2"BB and there was no change in the ride (didn't change shocks) and very little change cornering. It's a jeep and not a road racer so if you drive it like it should be driven center of gravity with these small lifts means little.

Default lift ride quality

I just had the Rough Country BB installed and I can't tell a difference in the ride quality. I just used the shock adapters and kept the factory shocks. The only difference is I have to grunt a little louder to climb in now.

I am not looking for my jeep to be a road racer, but I dont want it riding like my brothers old peterbilt also. I am debating between just a simple BB setup, or the BDS 3" setup

I just installed the Teraflex 2.5" lift with new shocks, and I gotta say I love the way it rides now! My fiancee thinks it rides more like my old TJ now, which to me is a very good thing; I've always felt the JK felt too cushy. It's a little stiffer, but not a whole lot.
