Well, of the two kits, the 4" is a lot more complete and so I would probably recommend it over the 3" just for that but even at that, I'm really not a big fan of control arms that have poly bushings on both ends and for this much lift, you really want a set of adjustable upper front control arms to help you dial in your caster (as opposed to using cam bolts to do the same job) and I have seen front track bar relocation brackets that bolt up to the axle cause the factory mounts to break. Is this the only manufacturer you are willing to look at?

I am getting the BDS 4.5" lift installed today on my Sahara Ulimited, the shop that is doing it has the same lift on their JK and has had their lift installed for over a year with no problems other than they had a seal go bad on one of their gas shocks.

I went with the 4.5 because I am doing 37" tires........

I asume FT means Fab Tech? That is what I have and it is the worst thing I have done if its the same parts....front springs, rear spacers, extention brackets, bump stops, shocks. Is this it? My Jeep squats and dw and bump steer. Just a little info....

Actually, I think he meant FT as in Full Traction.

I have the BDS 3" in kit on my 2dr and its bad a$$! i beat it up pretty much every weekend and the only that that has even went wrong with it is i dented the steering stabilizer but they replaced it free of charge just like they will with any component you get from them. The kit rides great on the road and the offroad performance is incredible!!!

I noticed the BDS kits do not come with beefed t bar mounts, did you do it your self? Also, your ride is fine with extention brackets?
