Default BDS 3 inch Kit adding on

I want to add about 2 more inches of height to my BDS 3 inch kit. I would rather not do a body lift. Do I have to upgrade my kit to to their 4.5 or 6 inch or can I go with some control arms, new spring spacers, pitment arms and trac bar?

What do you guys think. Just got this kit last summer and need some more clearance.

you could do springs or spacers... IIRC they use fixed control arms If so you may have an issue with caster and pinion angle. Probably need adjustable trac bars as well and you also will be treading into driveshaft replacement territory

I cant sacrifice driveability as well so I may have to replace kit and just sell this one

I think more people would comment if you told exactly what you had right now. Unless I am the only person that does not know what all a BDS 3" comes with. If you already have adjustable control arms and track bars and bumpstops, etc... you may just be able to swap springs and shocks. You have an auto or a stick? Auto.... you prolly need a front shaft.... stick..... you may not need either shaft for a little while. I think if you give info on exactly what you have you will get many more responses.

i added the 1" body and trimmed fenders and i could run 37" no prob. I have killer flex check out the ramp day pics. but if you want bigger you will need all new components I believe.

i started with the bds 4.5 lift and then added the jks acos pros coilover spacers .. that gives me anthor 2-4 inches of adjustablity.. so that might be a option.. i have a nice set of gas bds shocks for the 4.5 lift if you need them.. so i would recomend the acos or acos pros..
