Well, their CJ/YJ leaf spring lift are really nice but I've questioned their TJ lift with it's instructions to drill a new hole in the front track bar axle mount to relocate it and I question their use of cam bolts on the JK kit. Cam bolts require you to open up your control arm mounting holes making them into slots and once this is done, turning back is difficult to do. Now, the specific problem with this is that in my experience, it is difficult to keep cam bolts from coming loose or from shifting under the stresses placed on them when wheeling. Of course, once they come loose and/or shift, your suspension/alignment will be off.

i had the 3 inch bds kit on my jk unlimited, it was miserable.. there was considerable tire rubbing on the control arms even with 4.5 backspacing and the esp system went off on almost every curve. the system was replaced with the 4.5 inch bds kit because my install shop loved bds. this system was still bad.. the same problems occured but appeared to be some improved. finally, the install shop ordered the teraflex 4 inch system with trac bars both front and rear. all issues that i was having immediately were corrected. i had a bds system on an f250 and have it on an fj62 and love the kits made for these vehicles but i personally would stay away from them on the jk.

Hey thanks for the input. How did you like the TF 2.5" BB? I am now leaning toward it, iwant to use 33-35" tires but this is also my daily driver to and from work. I will get the BDS rear Track bar relocation bracket, anything elese you needed to complete your setup? just want ot get it right and be happy with the results.

I really think the TeraFlex 2.5" lift is a great lift. In fact, I just installed the 3rd one to date on SDMF's JK this afternoon and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. SDMF is running his with 35" with the shock extensions and it looks/rides great. In all honesty, you really don't need anything other than what comes with the kit but if you really want to get your axles recentered under your Jeep, an adjustable front track bar and rear relocation bracket will be needed to do it.

Bought mine from the dealer last month with a 3" BDS installed. Tires are being delivered today, but on the stock tires I have no problems with the lift. It is a smooth ride. I haven't flexed it yet though.

I used to have a CJ7 4" BDS and it was a good set of springs.
