Default BDS or Black Diamond?

So I'm trying to decide which suspension system to go with to run 35" tires (thinking at least a 4" so I can go with 37s one day).

Black Diamond was highly praised by 4 wheel & off road (I like what they and JP mag say about them), but most people around here are running BDS. I know Black Diamond is owned by Superlift and that you can upgrade to the Superlift Rockrunner arms, but are the rest of the Black Diamond components basically Superlift components? Black Diamond only has a 3" lift... no 4".

Anybody running Black Diamond? Do you have pics?

Do they ride nice on the street? Can you steer left and right all the way like when it was stock? Soft ride? Controlled steering? No issues like bump steer or under hard braking? If you've been off road, how do you like it there?

I havent had it off road , but the ride on the street is amazing , very close to stock ride.. just a little stiffer.. no bumpsteer, no wondering , turns all the way left and right with no rubbing or bumping .. I have no issues, I went from a 36 inch fender heigth to 42 inch in the front and 40 3/4 in the rear.. It leveled the rake out nicely. The lift is more or less a 4 INCH lift . I am very happy with this lift , and I think with a 1 inch more body lift you could run 37s NO PROBLEM . I went with this lift because of the ratings you talk about. RATED VERY HIGH BY TOP TESTORS.. And was tested hard.. And for less than $ 700.00 with shocks Id say money well spent. The superlift 4 inch I beleave is the same lift with 1 inch longer springs. should ride as good but I cant say... Thear are some guys on here with it also.. Hope this helps.

Thaks for the info and the bump. Did you get any of the extra options besides the basic kit? Like the rockrunner arms, track bars, steering stabilizer, brake hoses?

Anybody else with the Black Diamond? I am still not clear if besides the rockrunner arms the other components are the same on the superlift 4" kit?

Just the basic kit , It did come with new adjustable tracbar for the front , bracket for the back.. And the brakeline drop brackets work nice, I went with the standard Black Diamond At shocks.. So far no complaints..Im happy.. Some will tell you if your going to do a lot of wheeling upgrade the shocks, But im happy with them for now.. Nice Ride...
