Default BDS Suspension?

Has anyone ever heard of BDS Suspension? I picked up some parts from this 4wd place near by and they are selling a 3" suspension lift for the JK for "cost" for $375 and then want $200 to install and realign. Is BDS Suspension a good brand?

Thanks,
Tyler

I've used BDS on YJs and TJs and had very good results. Excellent warranty - they replace it for any reason. They took back a set of 3" lift leaf springs and replaced them with 4.5" lift leafs without asking any questions - I just had to pay shipping and the price difference. BDS is a great company, I'd be happy to put their parts on any Jeep I own.

Wouldn't look horrible, but..... You'll still want bigger tires, then you'll want MORE lift, then you'll want even bigger tires, then..... Aw, it never ends.

well I'll probably only go with 35"s but I saw a 2in spacer and it looked good on a stock rubi. I'm going to see if they have a 2.5 lift for the same price just switch out the springs. I am gion to stay with the rubi wheels and tires since I got them for a damn good deal for $500 for all 5 with the tires and wheels under 2k.

You'll be fine man. You might wanna get some SpiderTrax wheel spacers to widen your stance abit. Also it will be more stable and look better.

how much is a set of those wheel spacers? $200? I like the pro comp 8179 rims but that would be about $600 for a set of 4

I ran the 3" BDS lift on my last JK. In my profile you can see some pics of it (silver JK). It rode tons better than stock. They only thing is, it is exactly 3", not more, like a lot of 3" lifts. I added a 1" body lift later, but that was simply personal preference because I wanted my Jeep a little higher. It's a great lift with an awesome warranty. It runs 35" tires just fine. Plus, since it doesn't go over 3", you won't have to look at swapping out your driveshafts like you would with taller lifts. I put 10K miles on the lift with no issues and no driveshaft problems.

Also, I ran the spidertrax spacers with the stock wheels and tires for about a week, and the spacers definately make a difference in the look, even without larger tires.
