I have the 3" BDS kit with the upgraded gas shocks. Anything specific that you are wondering about? Post it or shoot me a PM, and I'll do my best to answer your questions.

i have had the 2 inch on my TJ for 5 years now with no problems and the 3 inch on my JK for 3 years now. The only problem with the 3 inch is the front is now saggiing about an inch with addition of a heavy winch bumper. An email to BDS, and they responded with the solution of changing the front coils to the 4 inch lift coils to maker up for it. I will do that as soon as i add the winch to the bumper. Right now it is not too bad. But a no question asked lifetime warranty, and flawless off road performanc, i cann not complain.

Not on my JK but i just recently got rid of my 06 Ram 1500 that had their kit on it. I loved it. Rode better than stock and all the parts seemed to be well built and engineered. I loved the fact that if anything broke it was covered for life. Plus i talked to a few lift company's when trying to decide on the final lift. Pretty much came down to fabtech and bds. The bds guys were so much more helpful. Wanted to stay on the phone and talk and figure out the best package for me.

So.... no complaints with BDS. I don't know how they compare in the JK world but in the Dodge world, they were one of the best.

I've been making the phone and email rounds with lift kit manufacturers to better understand their products, since things have changed since I had my last Jeep (TJ).
IMO, many of them make functional quality products, but have some and some times small differentiation. The biggest difference I've encountered is the knowledge, willingness to discuss and personal interest they have in their products. I am sure this is highly dependent on the person I happen to talk to, but customer service is important to me.

I'm also looking at BDS as an option, I had a 6" BDS lift on my 2001 F-350 and it was great, its between BDS, Currie, CLayton, and Teraflex, too many choices, but I have till my stock tires wear out (which I'm accelerating by not rotating and running a tad low)

I have the 3" BDS and I like the way it rides. It is a little stiffer than stock but that was expected.I got almost 4" out of it.

Mine was lifted yesterday with a 3 inch BDS kit, 305-65-17 on pro comp wheels. Rides better than stock on road. Don't know about offroad yet because of work, but so far I am very pleased. Anyone know how to keep the pics open in the thread??? Or go to 4shocker.com and look in the jeep gallery. Mines the only yellow one.
