Default Which Beadlocks, help!

Looking for 17" beadlocks for my rescue green '10 jku. Wanting to keep my 35" GY Wrangler kevlar mt/r tires for now, but may want 37's in the future. Current stocker wheels with 1.5 spidertrax spacers still rub, when turning sharply, on the lca's of my 3.5" RK lift. Want rims that won't rub, even when articulated, without using spacers. I've narrowed my choices down to;
ATX Slabs
Trail Ready HD
Spyderlocks
Can anyone offer up pros and cons? Having a really hard time deciding and its a big investment decision I want to make correctly the first time.

well, the the spyderlocks are made by ATX and technically, the slabs are the exact same wheel only without the star in the center. i've run both and i prefer the slabs. the stars look wicked cool but, they get hung up on rocks and tress and get bent causing your balance to be off. need i say, i'd go for the slabs.

Can a get a set of just the rings from spyderlock for the ATX slabs? That way I'd have both rings and could swap them out depending on my need at the time?

Love my spyderlocks!

Rings do get abused but mine have held up well!

Buying both rigs would not only be expensive!!!! But very time consuming also! The spyderlock rings are like 150$ a piece also! Not to mention you break bead removing the ring. Then I would think you would have to balance them again.. To much work for me! If you like the spyderlocks then just go that rout and be done.

Hmmm, that opens a whole new world or possibilities! Haha. As far as the TR HD beadlocks, WoL, no opinion on those? The guy at TR that answered my email said they use " high pressure casting" in a US foundry and that ATX/spyderlock use "low pressure casting" in China and that the TR rims are 50% stronger. I am a metallurgist at Caterpillar. I deal with castings every day. The vague details he gave me say nothing about whether his product is actually superior or not as casting is HIGHLY dependant on mold design. So, in short, I'm looking to get some opinions and first-hand experience too.

unfortuantely, i have no experience with TR rims and so, i can't really speak favoably for or against them. i have run walker evans, spyderlocks and atx slabs and have found all of them to be strong, durable bead lock wheels.

Going with the Spyderlocks unless someone can convince me otherwise! Does anyone have any experience with the Trail Ready HDs?

I don't run trailreadys yet but I will be very soon. I've got a buddy that wheels the piss out of his jeep in the rocks and they hold up very well. I like buying stuff made in the usa if I can and I prefer the look of the TR over the slab myself but the slabs are a sweet wheel I don't think you could go wrong either way so good luck on your choice.
