Default to beat a dead horse

I checked a few threads (2 1/2 hours) looking for this specific question.

I own a 2008 Sahara Unlimited. I want to ditch my stock rims and tires for a set of Cragar softs 8's (shocker) and these Hankook Dynapro MT's. The size is 315 70R 17 (34.5 x 12.5).

I have, in stock at my local shop a 2" BDS spacer lift with new shocks to go on. Will this work, or should I go a bit larger? I doubt how much I will take this on off road for a while anyway, my TJ was just pulled from being my DD.

Second, will these stick out of my stock flares? The Cragars are a 4.5" BS if I am reading them right for the 17 x 8 rims.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for the post.

I sold my Hankooks in that size to a friend of mine with Cragar 17x9 soft 8's with 5" BS (same offset as yours in the 17x8). He was running the Rusty's 2" coil lift. They worked out great. Good luck.
