Bed lining and rocker panels
I've ordered a gallon of monstaliner and have heard that many have left over after doing to tub of a 2 dr. I'm also looking to buy some rocker gaurds (either poison spyder or smittybilt) and rather then spending the $150-200 for the above brands, has anyone experimented with trying to get the same look with bed liner? I've seen many do the lower rocker panel but have yet to find and pictures with the underneaths of the doors painted. Below is a picture of the smittybilt body cladding so you know what I'm talking about!
Thanks!
Thanks!
I did it to my side skirts (the rocker panel is the inside of the door frame)
I made a write up on it too.
I did a straight line obviously with a little foot step on the inside but you can certainly make whatever shape.
Something I wish I did when I did it, was cover the interior with plastic. Also may want to go higher than I did with the masking off but take your time when you mask off the line of what you want painted, and press the tape down very firmly after drying the surface to ensure a good seal.
It's been on there almost 2 years now and is solid.
