Default Bedlined Cowl Vent

Has anyone Bedlined the cowl vent? Looking to do this, just want to see the best application.

I'm going to guess just cleaning it really well, sanding it down with a light grit sand paper, taping off the other areas and doing a few coats?

I didn't use bedliner I wanted to keep a really smooth finish so I used dupicolor flat black auto paint

The center piece comes out , the side cowls are welded to the fender so you have to mask off those I used two can of paint so far no chipping or peeling and I did it in march

Looks awesome! Did you sand it first? Or just cleaned it off really well, and painted it?

Yup did mine over a year ago. No issue so far. I used duplicolor bed liner. You HAVE to at least scuff with a scotch brite pad or it will peel. Don't have to go crazy just remove the shine from the paint. I suggest removing the center piece. It's very easy to take off just one bolt for each wiper and 4screws/plastic retainers. Then just tape off the side portions of the cowl.

Good luck
