Default Bedlined Hood?

I've been thinking of getting an AEV hood and I saw one going cheap but the wrong color...
I've also seen all of those Jeeps with the large black decal covering the center of the hood...
So, I ask all of you.
What would you think about a Blue JK with a Black Hood... Specifically, bedlined hood...

Just had another thought...

What if I made the whole Jeep two tone...
made the hood black, cowl, & window frames (windshield & doors)

Again what are your thoughts...

I considered bedlining my hood in the mountain/cod edition style. Then I decided against it because I thought it might act as some sort of insulator to retain heat under the hood. It already gets pretty hot in there!

I think you are on a better track with the AEV which let's heat out rather than acts to keep it in.

If you get the hood cheap enough it would be fine.

My concern is fading with bedliener, unless you to Linex it seem to keep its color best.

You can use AL's liner if you want to DIY. It is the same as lineX and it is tintable too if you want blue after all. http://www.alsliner.com/
I bought some for my truck. I havent used it yet so I can say how easy it is to use.
Here is a thread on the stuff. I am trbizwiz on there too. http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/al...ercoating.html
