Default Bedliner Bushwackers ?

Has anyone tried this? You know, spraying the Bushwacker flares with Bedliner spray? I think it would look great...just not sure if it would adhere. I mean, you have to sand them for paint to match, why not bedspray? What do you guys think?

Yes, I sanded the ones I had on my CJ then had them sprayed them with Line-X. I don't have any photos but they looked great. One word of caution though, be sure to sand the little bolt pockets good and don't use cheap bedliner (i.e. Walmart spray on) because most cheap bedliner material is too stiff and I think it will eventually crack off.

I've seen factory TJ ones done. They looked great and the owner said they've stood up real well.

i did the bushwacker flares on my tj and was happy with the results. it gave the jeep a unique look; i can't count the number of times i was stopped at gas stations or intersections and asked about it. i have photos if you would like to see them. pm me your email and i will send them to you.

The only problem now is I'll have to get the front and back bumper sprayed too...or it just won't look right! In fact, might not be a bad idea to spray the grill as well (less bugs to tear up the paint).

So the Bushwackers are a little wider, but do they give more room for flex? I was told they actually hinder flex room. Something about the rear Bushwackers opening is smaller? Whats up?
