Default bedlining the tub hurting resale

Hey guys, I've wanted to bedline my tub but what is stopping me is resale value. I have a 2WD JKU and have thoughts of trading it in once my enlistment is done since I would actually need 4wd back home. I want to bedline it but has anyone had trouble bedlining it and then selling/trading it in? Did you just put your carpet back in and not say anything about it?

Like you said, just put the carpet back in when you go to sell, and they will never know.

If you were concerned with resale why a 2wd JKU?

JK

Personally I don't think it hurts resale. If at a dealer just let them do inspection.

If selling to a person, be upfront and tell them.

It's in how you sell it. Most will be happy.

selling the jeep...to upgrade to a better jeep. I only own the 4x2 but i'll always drive a jeep. I was saving up for the end of my enlistment to get a rubicon but my current scion crapped out and the rwd jk works for me right now. I've never seen a better community of jeepers wanting to help each other. I haven't owned a jeep for long but know that I will forever.

I'm just teasing on the 2wd.

My jeep is in 2wd mode probably 95 if not 99% of the time.

Agree completely on the community. I've owned Stangs, motorcycles etc. Jeep by far is best community and I too will always own one and wish I had gotten one earlier in my life.

yeah, I just had a guy pickup a hardtop that was damaged for free and mail me the back window and freedom panels. He wasn't even going to get me to send him upfront shipping charges. Another guy in a jeep saw me with dealer plates and wanted to know if I had any questions with anything.

Plus I needed a reliable vehicle..if I got a 4x4 JK it wouldn't be reliable because I would have way too much fun with it on the trails.
