Don't forget to mask all your bolt holes and seat belt mounts!

Hmm didn't consider that. Ok steel is out, probably gonna go with Curtis's idea about under the roll bar pads. Hopefully there is enough slack in the wires to do that without extending them, but we will see. Thanks for the info guys. You rock. I'm hoping a day to prep and a day to apply. How long for it to cure before I can put everything back in?

With a 4 door, you will need to splice in around 4 feet of wire to make it work. I think that is how much it was. I spliced in right at the back door and ran it up the b-pillar, and through the padding.

And I used the whole day to prep, and the next day to shoot. I also let it sit for another day before putting the front seats back in, and a week before the rear seats. Don't know if that was necessary, but owell.

You can also use vasoline to cover the bolt head so you can always get them out if needed. Just a lite coating so the bed liner doesnt stick to them.... did this on my welding trailer and it worked real well.

Definitely give the bedliner 24-48hrs to cure before putting stuff back together. The longer the better. If I could have given my liner a week to cure I would have but I only had 3 days off work. I'm partial to duplicolor rattle can liner but WOL's suggestion is the best if you have access to a compressor. As far as the wires use plastic ducting and zip tie it under the lip of the tub. I put the plastic covers back on when I was done and it covered most of the wires. Good luck and remember take your time prepping!

Has anyone done a well documented write up on this process? I'm interested in doing it or having it done and want to be educated on what I'm getting into.

I plan on doing my tub sometime this summer when It gets really hot. I figure I can prep gradually so I dont die from heat stroke, than give the tub a good cleaning/degreasing and spray. When its 110+, the bedliner should be fully cured within 1 day.
