Good start would be to sleeve your axle and gusset your C'S

Yep or look into an axle truss kit. Rusty's and pure jeep sell great kits.

i guess reinforce the axle first then pick away at the steering stuff. the beefier steering components really seem to be for those of us who play hard on the rocks. didn't see that one in your list so things like an unbreakable tie rods might not be as important as bracing your sector shaft and beefing up the track bar mount. just tailor it specifically to your needs.

hope that helped some

upgraded drag link, tie rod, sector shaft brace, sleeves, and gussets would be a good start. probably a upgraded set of Ball joints wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Purejeep has what the call a backbone bracket. It is like $79. That combined with c gussets and you don't have to sleeve. There was a thread on it recently.

i installed the purejeep backbone and gusset kit last week along with nitro hammer in sleeves. The parts only ran me $330 and can easily be installed in a day. Next i want to do reid racing knuckles with balls joints, and the evo drag link flip kit because like you, i go fast

I'd also look into bracing the trac bar brackets because I've managed to shear both off.

it's always a mystery to me that so many people talk about things like sleeves and trusses like there's some kind of epidemic of broken axle housings and yet, never once mention things like upgrading the axle shafts even though, they DO break all the time.

sleeves are great cheap insurance and if you've got the cash, i'd say do it just because of that. trussing an axle sounds like a great idea but, if you're not an expert welder who knows how to do it right, doing so can CAUSE your axle housing to bend. having said all that, you gotta know that of the hundreds of thousands of JK's there are out there today, there have only been about a dozen or so housing breaks that i know of.

as a part of beefing up a front axle, c's are a must as they have proven themselves to bend but, i would follow that up with new chromoly shafts if for not other reason than the fact that they come with full circle clips. anything on top of that is just gravy.
