Default The beginning of my homemade stubby bumer

Started building my bumper... I used a 3x5.5" piece of angle iron (actually a brick lintel) to cap the frame, a piece of 3/8" steel plate for the winch mount, cut holes for the factory fog lights, and re-used the stock tow hooks to hold it on. I rotated my sway bar disconnect motor up, so I'll be surface mounting the winch. I'm also going to add a stinger which will weld on inside the "U" of the factory tow hooks. Then maybe a hoop up around the grill. Here is what I have so far:

I was thinking of doing something similar. I like the look. I would replace the factory tow hooks with some D rings mounts and mount a high lift on it (Just an idea). I saw that you are in cleveland... Im in Chattanooga. Were do you go ride?

That looks really nice. I like the fact you left (or created) space for the headlights. Thanks for the pics.
