Default Bent Skyjacker Shock - Keep Driving?

Hey all,

I've been working on the Jeep today and I noticed that my leaking passenger rear shock is now a leaking BENT shock. I dunno when it happened, maybe the last off roading trip a few weeks back, but I've been driving it daily.

Should I leave it on until I get a replacement or just take it off? The vehicle would be safe to drive for the time being without it right?

i would pull the shock and drive without it. your jeep will be a little sloppy and that might get your esp light to go on but that's about it.

Thanks WOL. I assume I should just keep the drivers side shock on, or take both good and bad off till the replacement comes?

Thanks!

Anyway, that was a pain in the ass. I ended up taking an angle grinder to the top of the shock to melt the rubber bushing enough to get that bar out that holds the top of the shock on. jeeez...
