I Know there has been post before about tires but I can't decide going from 17" to 15" I want 35"12.50 or 13.50 ok will be used for dd and slight off-roading and beach ok I know there's the km2s, duratrks,mt/r with Kevlar,nitto trails,cooper stt, and if I missed any sorry just wondering everyone's in put

 

I love my km2's. Have 30k miles on them and still going strong. They are great offroad in all sorts of conditions. I have zero regrets and will buy another set when these wear out.

 

Duratrac

 

Toyo open country. Everyone forgets them and they are a great tire. Maybe bit so much for rocks cause they have a stiffer sidewall but otherwise they are excellent.

 

Wow, just had my 35" General Tire Grabbers mounted last night a and is have to say I've never had such a quiet ride!!!

The handling on my JKU actually got BETTER!!

 

I have 35X12.50 MT/R's and there pretty good. They have a great aggressive look, and seem to ride pretty well. But they do seem to give a little shimmy from time to time at about 50mph, pretty sure thats just how they are but dosent bother me to often.

 

You're gonna get lots of opinion here. I prefer km2’s - I'm on my 3rd set but I think I might give nitto TG a chance next time.

 

I went from KM2 to Duratrac and will never go back. The duratrac is much quieter and does a lot better in deep sand.

 

Based on your post I would go 17" and stick with an AT. If I was buying an AT right now I'd go with Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 or the Toyo AT. I've had MTR and Duratrac and have no plans to buy another Goodyear tire. Running KM2's now and really like them, but they are MT. Opinions....

 

Ran duratracs twice and will run them again when this set wears out. Just drove 500 miles and the tire noise was minimal on 315/70/17 duratracs
