Default Best Bang for your Buck?

Hey Guys,
Just curious. I want to do some upgrades to try and get a bit more power out of the 3.8L. I know there's a ton of stuff out there and some of it can get expensive but whats the best bang for your buck. I know some of the products out there make a lot of promises but don't actually produce what they claim. Figured I ask all of you to see what you have experienced or heard as far as what really works and won't break the bank.

Thanks

Otherwise, save money for re-gearing.

You can regear a little bit to get some more low end power or you can get the Superchips tuner. Either way you'll get the best bang for your buck. Exhausts, CAIs, etc. aren't worth it.

Without supercharging its all pretty much doing nothing. Get gears and you will see the biggest performance gain. I really think intake and exhaust gains are all in peoples minds (and ears) especially on the 3.8 motor.

Bang for the Buck List,

1. Superchips Flashpaq Programmer

2. Drop in Air Filter (K&N AFE)

3. Muffler relocation Kit (Cooltech, Woods)

Before getting on with any of these upgrades, make sure you have enough gear to support the tires you're running.

Oh, and fill out your vehicle profile and you can get some more in depth responses.

All I can tell you is going from 3.21 to 4.88 feels like I gained a hundred horsepower, without doing anything at all to the engine. Cost: around $1500.

Bang - I prefer the stick and string.

Okay. Superchips tuner, regear.
