Due to the long JKU length some of these will bend while under pressure and end up denting the body.
yeah i know rocker guards are a must i was planning on putting the EVO ones on i really like the look of those

also did anyone have any overheating issues after putting on a full skid system?

I just kinda assumed the factory skids would be cheap plastic and not do much but if i get rocker guards evap relocation/skid and oil pan skid i should be good then ill just go with that

on the 2012's, hard to say for sure this early on but, the oil pan, transmission line and tranny pan have been left so exposed, it's a risk i'm willing to take. on the 2011 and older, i would definitely get the oil pan skid as there is nothing to protect what's there now. while i might be reluctant to run the other skids, i do like the minimalist approach evo takes. another option is to install a rock krawler hd tranny pan if you have an auto. if you have a manual, you don't need to armor up your transmission.

In the interest of learning something new, why is that?

manuals do not have a sump pan that hangs low to the ground like automatic do. it is the reason why they never come with a skid bar or skid plate - they just aren't necessary. and, maybe it's just been my luck but, i have been wheeling manuals for a very long time and have never had a rock encounter with any of my manual transmissions.

I agree with what the others have said. I think the stock skids on my Rubicon are sufficient. I plan on adding an oil pan skid, I have differential covers waiting to be installed, and I have already installed an Evap skid.
