Default Best price on 35x12.50x17 MTR/K?

Time to start looking for tires, and I am pretty much set on wanting the MTR/K.

Best price I can find is 4WP @ $298 each, ouch! Plus tax for me, OUCH!

I'm not in a hurry and can wait for a deal. What's the best price you guys have paid/seen for this tire?

Thanks

You're probably not going to find them much cheaper. Tire Rack is running about $320 and Discount Tire $335.

DTD has a forum discount, free shipping and a great replacement plan too. They do go on sale though, or at least Goodyear will do an $80 gift card when you buy 4.

Lol.. yeah, that's a lot for me.

I usually try to find a deal on used tires, especially to take them off-road. I doubt I will see these used in good shape, so considering new. Btw, ends up being about $320-330 each, after tax.

$332 at Tread Depot, however free shipping and "I believe" no taxes (depending on Zip Code)...

TreadDepot.com: Goodyear Wrangler MT/R W/Kevlar Tires Black Wall (35-1250 R17 111Q) 750740326

Let me suggest Treadwright Guard Dogs they are about $160 a piece. Granted they are a retread, but they are a bead to bead retread and they work wonderfully for me. I have 13k miles on them, no problems so far, and wear has been minimal. They are warrantied fully for 2 yrs and prorated after that. Google them and check them out.
I just wish they had more than one rim size for 37's.

Just looked at these Guard Dog Treadwrights, not a bad looking tire for $190. But they are listed as offroad only and therefor not covered by their limited warranty. I might try a set on my old Dodge 2500 but they only come in"E" load range and that's way to stiff for my jeep. I do like the price

I don't know what size you were looking at but mine are 315 x 70r-17 (34.7") and I dont recall an "offroad only" tag on them. I do remember some of them with that tag though!

The Guard Dog is the optimum on/off road tire. The combined uniform center lug pattern and wider and open outer lug create a tire with maximum traction that meets the needs of all pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles. Designed for the adventure seeker who desires the look and performance of rugged, off-road performances, the Guard Dog is known for strong wear and tear while off-roading. ---This item is sold for off-road use ONLY and not covered by our limited warranty. --- I was looking at 35/12.50/17 only offered in "E" but I see your 315's are "D" rated . Much better for light 4x4's

Thanks, I have heard of TW. Great prices, and the free shipping right now is awesome at $189/each. I cannot stand that old MTR tread though lol. I had a set of new TJ Rubi take offs, on my XJ. Scary on ice.

I noticed that label too. Didn't know if it was because of the tire or tread though. Plus, I've read they are really heavy tires. Not sure how true that is.
