Teraflex aluminum here.

Install was pretty easy. Just measure 10x and drill once!

Question about sliders, I have noticed some point up vs down. I like the down better bc they serve a dual purpose slider/step.

Is there any concerns with the sliders pointing down? are they just as safe/strong/reliable as the up facing ones. Thanks

Default Smittys

I have the Smittybilt SRC and haven't had an issue with them. They are sturdy IMO. Great price too!

Funny because it's true! I only measured TWICE and still managed to be off on one hole for my frame mounted sliders (TnT). they were for thread cutter bolts, so I just couldn't widen the frame hole. Had to dremmel out the slider and use washers to fix...

Yes, for a couple months. I haven't hit anything with them yet, so I can't vouch for durability. Maybe next weekend!

After I installed the EVO sliders I slid the Jeep off a rock so it landed on the rock slider. Just a scratch.

Ok here ya go.....for those that don't believe that the Smittybilt SRC's should not be used on a 4dr.

They will flex in the middle and the middle crossbar will dent your rockers...it happened on both sides!

I now have the Smittybilt XRC Rock Sliders and they are SOLID.

Matador, who did you purchase XRC sliders from? How easy was the install? Did you have to do any drilling?
