Default Best Shock

I'm planning to change my shocks... I have the Skyjacker's and I hate them ! I want a smoother ride... which one are the best for on and offroad??

Some people say after the lift install "It rides better than stock"... believe me... Skyjacker shocks sucks! It doesn't ride better than stock

I'm thinking about the teraflex, RE or bilstein shocks... but hey... I just don't know which one to get, so tell me guys your own opinions

I forgot ... I have a 4" lift

Thanks in advance !

As far as I know, RE monotubes are bilsteins. I'm assuming that TF also makes a monotube but I'm not sure...

Firm Ride go with a RE monotube or a bilstien

Smooth comfortable ride go with the OME Long travel Shocks

Our current shocks are a twin tube. New upgraded shocks are in the works.

Default I like my rancho 9000xl's

I also have a 4' lift and use the Rancho 9000xl 9 way adjustable shocks, have my front set to 1 and rear set to 2...love the ride. And if i add weight I can adjust to compensate. They take 30 seconds to adjust ...nice set up !

I have the Edelbrock IAS shocks on mine now and they hands down better than the stock, or the Bilsteins I used to run. Nice smooth ride.

They have a valve in them that sense road inertia. When the road is smooth they stiffen for a firm ride, when the road is rough they soften for a softer ride.

Well worth the money. If you are lifted they sell Edelbrock IAS Extremes.

I will be looking into these when it comes time that I need new shocks.
