Default Best tire for sharp pointy things

Just got back from dove hunting here in Texas and noticed a lot of mesquite , devils walking stick and other thorns stuck in my tires. Some were 1.5" in the valley of the tread. I have BFG MT Km and was wondering what's the best puncture resistant tire? Thanks Jon

Km2 are good for crawling as they have a softer sidewall and tread....for solid sidewalls and more resistant tore the Toyo open country are heavier but a lot more stout....

I love km2s myself but trying out toyos personally and after seeing them in the nasty rocks with low psi and lack of damage to em....
So I'm more bfg guy but like toyos....wasn't real happy with Kevlar mt/r

My MT/Rs definitely seemed to pick up a lot of cholla and other thorns. The Toyos I'm running now seem less prone to getting stabbed by that stuff.

Toyo MTs or Nitto Trail Grapplers, pretty much bulletproof.

I really like KM2s but they would not be my choice for puncture resistance. In general, look for more ply's which is going to stiffen the tire.

I would go with something like the Toyo's and Duratrac's.

X2 on the nitto trail grapplers. Running 10 ply and no thorns or holes yet!

Toyo open country mt would probably be the best tho.

X2. I have pulled some huge thorns out of my trail grapplers with zero issues, but they have a hard time penetrating them.
