Default Best Undercarriage Armor

I'm looking to armor up! But at the same time, I don't want to install a skid for every component under the Jeep; just the most vulnerable or most vital. I know there are skids for the engine, tranny, transfercase, or cat.

I already have LCA skids, a 2.5 lift, and 34's (I don't plan to add any additional lift or larger diameter tires). I wheel about once a month on trails rated 3-4 out of 5 (mostly rocks and desert terrain).

What brand and which armor/skid do you guys recommend?

I love my rock hard engine/oilpan/ trans skid. Its one piece and mounts up easy. Very solid

Evo makes a great oil pan, transmission skid. Very solid and well made.

I've been eyeing up the skid row oil pan / tranny skid. Any thoughts on that one?

I have the skid row. Its solid. It's been installed for over two years with no issues. Oil changes are no problem.

More hype I guess. Had mine for 3 years no scratch, nothing. If you beat your rig hard every weekend it could come in handy. If not I would roll that $100 into another mod.

Depends a lot on the driver too. And yes this was my .02 lol

ARB also makes a kit that isn't priced too high. If I had the cash I would prob go EVO but will likely end up with ARB, can't speak for quality of either of these kits first hand though
