Default Best Wheels for Year Round?

I have been looking at purchasing some aftermarket wheels for the 35s that I plan to buy. But I need wheels that I can run in the winter that will take the salt and sand that is on the roads. I have been told to stay away from polished wheels, and even the clear coated wheels become hazy. Several reps from wheel companies have said that chrome is the best? They swear that chrome will not pit or rust, some put a 2 year warranty on the wheels. Really, wasn't looking at going that route, but if it is a wheel that I can run year round, I might. Any input appreciated?

i would think a decent powdercoated wheel would be appropriate. they will keep up just as good as your paint, even better.

you will have to keep them clean, maybe a couple coats of wax before the winter season?
