I'm not saying you can't stand it. They're a lot louder than I imagined. I was only trying to put it in perspective. They're probably close to the YJ half doors with soft uppers. The uppers separate the same.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm sure there's lots of JK owners who would find the noise troublesome. The JK is really a quiet Jeep compared to some of the older ones.

The older I get (31 now), the quieter I like it. I've run swampers with straight pipes trucks before with 10% tent. I just traded out my km2s for terra grapplers because of the noise. I run topless and doorless about 9 months out of the year and that drone started eating at me. I haven't tried them off road but the jeep rides like a cloud compared to the km2s.

I can see why one would think that, however they are brutally loud compared to riding doorless. I spent a lot of time adjusting them to a point where they are bearable for use on a day to day basis. Some adhesive backed foam on the lower steel frame helps a lot with the flapping.

I like mine, ya they have issues but what doesn't, if you unzip the window a bit on both sides it sucks the top back in like a vaccume, as for noise these are just for the elements as far as I'm consirned if they can keep you somewhat dry then their worth it, I haven't had a major problem yet
