Default Bestop Bikini top...

So one of my freedom tops was stolen (posted in another thread) and so I ordered the bestop safari top. But when it came the chanel didn't come with any of the screws that the instructions said I needed... Am I an idiot and didn't know I needed to go get the screws sepratly, or did they just leave it out of the packaging. Surely I'm not an idiot, at least not in this case!

Your best bet is to call bestop or the place you bought it from. I'm sure it was a packing mistake. Nothing a phone call can't fix.

yea I sent an email to the place I bought it from. I am just impatient with more weather coming in and not having a top! Makes looking good for meeting a bit difficult when you come in soaked to the bone! (I do drink less coffee on rainy mornings these days though!

The screws should have come with the channel. They did with mine. If you have a 2 door be careful with the rear straps that go around the seatbelt posts. Mine chaffed through after the third time I went driving. Use something as a chafe guard over the nylon strap to prevent chaffing. A piece of hose should work to prevent chaffing, either water hose or some smaller diameter rubber hose should do the trick. Good luck, hope yours works better than mine did.

Yea I have the channel. But the chanel doesn't seem to have come with all of the components! It has two clamps and a total of like 18 screws according to the instructions. But All I got was one clamp!

The second time it happened someone asked me if I was riding my bike to work to save gas! They offered to give me a ride if money was an issue! HAHA

That happened to me from Quadratec a few months back, I received the channel and nothing else. They got it right the second time! Sorry that it happened to you too!

I have ordered channels for both jeeps and all screws and clamps came with it. SInce these normally dropship from Bestop, you should call them as soon as possible!
