I did a homemade security deck 2 years ago out of plywood. Living in florida, the sun wrecked it after 1 season but you'd probably be alright living in Canada

Also put cargo nets on both sides Doesn't come out easily, but good theft protection.

I just picked up a Rampage rear cargo rack for my unlimited for about $220. The good thing about this is that it obscures curious eyes to whats underneath it. I'm also trying to figure out a way to lock the levers too so that one wouldnt be able to open it without a key or knowing how to.

Only problem I had with it was that it rattled but after some trial and error tweaking, I've manged to silence it. All-in-all, very happy with it.

Curious, is it easy to take out the rack completely if you need the full trunk area? I'm not really looking for high security since I don't keep anything of real value except a stroller in there. I'm just looking for extra storage and something to make it harder to get at stuff in the trunk.
