Default Bestop Overhead Console

Has anyone gotten the Bestop Trailmax Overhead Console? According to the website, it looks like it should be available. Has anyone come up with an overhead storage solution?

Default Trailmax overhead console

I have one on order...waiting for it to ship to Aus from the US...

I'll post pics once I get it and install it...looks like an easy install and I already have a plan to cut holes in it for my reverse camera/DVD monitor! That may not happen straight away though...

Sorry...cancelled my order due to a lack of service.

(Charged my card immediately, but didn't tell me (even a week later) that the items were not in stock...and didn't know when they would be. Only offered to check with the supplier after I asked (10 days after placing my order).)

So...I might re-order from someone...but I'll wait and see. I'm still keen to get one for a CB and other bits.

You should be able to get the Bestop overhead console from most of our sponsoring vendors but another option you might want to consider is the one made by Tuffy:

Thanks Eddie,

I ordered my Trailguide GPS from Quadratec...There's been a few posts saying their service has declined...they must have been super brilliant before as they got back to me straight away and my order is in! I have found their service so far to be great.

The Tuffy seems to be the way to go for security, but I prefer the "out of the factory" look of the Bestop console. Again, people seem to be down on this product in the forums, but no-one seems to have one...which either means they are not too good, or people are just complaining about something they haven't seen or used yet. (Not that any of us would do that! )

I'm happy to be the guinea pig...

Cheers.

EDIT - P.S. Try to convince Northridge to ship to Australia!!!

How easily do these overhead consoles go on and off. I would like to have one when the top is on, but when I am topless, I would like it gone!

the bestop looks like its fairly quick, on and Off.

it would be nice, if it had a CB radio hook up for it.

Yeah, but then you would need to leave it on when you go topless
