Default Bestop Soft Top Headliner

Just wondering if anyone has this yet...
Will it still fold down the same, or do you have to release the headliner in some way? I read the installation manual and it didn't help much with this question.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that you need to have the Bestop soft top (not the Mopar soft top)

Quadratec catalog says it fits all factory and Bestop replace-a-tops.

I just purchased one from Bustabiz, should be here Friday, so I will try and install this weekend
I downloaded the instructions, looks pretty straightforward on the install
I will try to take pics of it (I am not real good at slowing down for the step by step stuff, but I will try)
Wife says I have to put the top up if I am going to bring the boys home from the hospital. I am hoping this will help keep the interior cooler for them.

Ok got the package
it is a little thinner than I thought it would be, almost looks like it is more to dress up the inside of the soft top
that being said, it does look very nice
I think it will provide some sound dampening, and it should give a little insulation, if nothing else from the air gap between it and the top.
I will install it tomorrow morning when it is not so hot outside

Ok first of all, you cann't fold this back without unsnaping the side straps, at least not that I culd figure out. I am nursing a torn rotator cuff, and i was getting too sore to continue trying. but it will fold up into the soft top without too much added bulk.
Several things I am not real happy about. the rear section has nothing to hold it side to side. I had to mess with the straps to get it smooth...not too sure it will stay that way, as started you have to undo the front side straps to fold it back, and it comes unvelcroed from the front bow when you fold it back. I will do a road test later today to see if it is good for anything besides dressing up the interior.

some install pics

take the screws out of the rear (center) bow

take the screws out of each side of the header and undo the front edges

unvelcro the forward bow

install velcro on the header. note there is a groove that it lines up against, you will start on the first rib, not the edge

install double sided velcro to the front bow note it attaches to the front (fuzzy) side of the loop

velcro strip only holds the center rear of the front section to the bow, the velcro goes in the center of the bow, do not start it at the edge

I wrapped the end strap around the webbing to try and keep the rear section tight

it does look pretty
