Question Bestop Supertop - window issue

I have installed Supertop NX a week ago on my 2011 JK 2dr and I noticed that the front vertical edge of soft windows a kind of stick out. I mean mainly upper part is not covered by steel door seal a I suppose it should be.

Am I missing something? I still hope it's just a matter of stretching in a short time. I tried adjusting from every side and it's no better, especially on driver side.

Please help me as it's very noisy becasue of that.

Default Bestop Supertop - window issue

Well ok. I couldn't understand why noone wrote anything so I kept searching everywhere and I finally found it.

It turned out that I have totally skipped one of soft top installation steps which is simple securing front edge of soft window in front vertical retainer. I simply thought the stiffed front endge of the window should be secured automatically by closing the door.

I couldn't sleep because of that because deep in my mind I thought "Bestop guys are not stupid and they rather wouldn't leave it sticking out and flapping in the wind like that" so after getting enlightened by endless internet sources (despite it's 11.50 pm here in Europe), I had to go outside and install soft windows properly.

I bet you all had been laughing your asses off while reading my post but please remember I'm a total newby to soft tops. I apologize for bothering you with this issue but I hope at least I hope I entertained you a little.

Look at the front edge of the side window. There should be a plastic piece in the edge with a 90 degree bend. Now look at the door surround that the door closes against. You should see a channel or groove in the front edge of it. Take the front part of the window and roll it towards the inside of the Jeep such that the exposed plastic piece will push into the door surround. Now your windows will stay nice and snug while going down the road.
