Default Trektop?

Do you need door surrounds for the top? If so do the Mopar ones work with the top? Sorry to hijack the thread...

It comes with metal door surrounds, around which you wrap the fabric. They are more like a skeleton frame whereas the factory surrounds are solid-- I don't think the factories would work for the Trek Top.

Yeah, I am hearing they are ridiculously easy to install and work better than the factory top. I, of course, read this right after buying a factory softop for mine.

thanks
I have one. On my third one because of wind noise that is worse than factory soft top. In reference to user error (mentioned by some), I have a degree and put it on correctly and still had wind noise. Oh well, its a jeep....turn up the radio. Overall.....LOVE IT.

just got mine on too and it seems to have a lot wind noise coming from the header as well. Havent had any rain yet but I can only imagine the wind noise will translate into a leaky top, I just hope its not unbearable.

Any pics of the trektop NX rolled back? I like the fastback look of that top and hate the pile of crap on my tailgate when I fold the factory top down. All the pics I see are on retail sites.....
