What tires are you running and what PSI were you running? Drop that PSI and you will see a big difference. beer seems to help

For high speed washboard I would keep the psi around 20-22 so you don't loose too much stability. I was running 50-55 mph at hammers and it just glides over the bumps.

We air down to around 18psi and hit speeds around 45 mph and that seems to be the best for us. Running toyo's with load c rating. Reason for mentioning that is it all about your side wall flex. Higher the load rating the more ply's, less sidewall flex. Try airing down a bit more but unless you are running bead locks, would stay above 12 psi and take it easy around corners, no power sliding like the Duke boyz. That would be bad, very bad....

Along with tire presser,, I know the Fox Reservoir shocks with 8 position adjusters are a nice, cheaper option than CO's. They are also further tunable thru valving and they are rebuid-able.

The magic is in adding sufficient uptravel and damping (JKs are set primarily for downtravel-slow rockcrawlers). If you want to "buy" prefabricated suspension, you can go either EVO Mfg route - bypass coilovers, or TF route - lift springs, tuned shocks and additional speedbumps (although their speedbump design is rather inferior to proper air-bump, as offered by Fox, King, etc., since its just longer foam bump, not a proper adjustable shock).

EVO: Suspension / Steering, Front Double ThrowDown System by EVO MFG.

I have $75k into mine. It is fun to drive, and a whole different four wheel experience. My wife would rather wheel in the jeep, though.

I live in south Louisiana and have a 2 door. I get my ass whooped on the washboard roads down here. I've learned to make sure I have plenty of Icy Hot and ice. JMO
