I have read a few threads here that compare these two great tires, but hardly anyone talks about their performance in the mud. Sorry no rocks where I live just nasty mud

Feedback please

Thanks!

I can honestly say the Toyo M/T is top notch in the mud, never left me stuck. I can't really compare the KM2 as I have never run it, but it looks good as well. You can't go wrong with either IMHO.

The new KM2's look less suited for mud than the old KM's. I think they are more for rock crawling. The toyo's are definitely awesome. Hand's down awesome.

I'd like to try the Toyos myself but need to wear mine out.

It's a tough call with tires. I sold ATV tires at a Mail Order company for years and always had my personal preference and liked to try them all (tough on the wallet though). A lot of it depends on the terrain you are driving. It's different terrains everywhere plus people have diferent driving styles. (just my thoughts from past experiences). My experience is not just ATV's, I've had quite a few lifted trucks over the years and have a "tire fetish" of sorts.

I have no experience with the toyos. I can say so far the KM2's have really impressed me.
Nothing but mud & clay around me in GA.

You can go wrong with either! I ran toyo's for a while and my next set will be KM2's.

jayrav, one thing I learned when I asked about the best tire for mud wheelin' here in Guam...

... if you want traction in mud, then there are tractors and there are boggers. Any MT out there is tied for 3rd.

I went with Boggers 'cause I wasn't prepared to DD tractors. I am glad I did. Those boggers got me through some crap that a normal MT would've chewed up and spit out!
