Default Beware Superlift

I'm not trying to run anyone into the ground, but I would suggest being careful when you order from them. Don't order their shocks with the kit. The shocks they sent for my kit were less than an inch taller than the stock X shocks. When you are lifting 2 or 2.5 inches....that shock won't flex enough! Also, their customer service is terrible, as they act like you are dumb when you tell them they screwed up. The guy pretty much told me that I was making the issue up and that they don't ever mess up. I finally got the issue resolved, and it was almost as if they "had" to please me....not "want" to please me. I won't ever get a lift from them again.

I did however call Old Man Emu for some advice because I've heard great things about them and they are EXTREMELY NICE!!! The guy actually took a few minutes of his time to help me out and gave me his info if I had anymore questions. Now, that's great customer care!!!

I've had the Superlift 2" lift with shocks for exactly a year, no problems at all with flex, travel, bump or any other ride related issue. Sorry you had problems with them, but I am very happy with the lift and performance of Superlift.

Why didnt you just take a picture of the two of them side by side and send it to whomever you were talking to? And how did they "resolve" things?

Well, I would have taken the picture and sent it to them....but sometimes you just know when someone is too stubborn to understand. I explained very well over the phone.

They are going to swap the shocks out at no charge and give me the one's for a 4" kit....but I had to purchase them, then they will refund me when I send mine back.

with a 4 inch lift shock you may drop a spring out or when you are on the road and compress going over a bump you may compress the shock to the top of the shock and you will loose compression a posed to extension, which you may have to much of and not enough compression.

dude pack it up send it back .
get a tera flex or ome or a company that knows what customer service really is.
sorry about ur experience and thanx for letting us know

You're a lot more trusting than I would have been with a company accused (by you) of delivering poor customer service. I hope you get that charge reversed okay.

I had a 4" superlift on my TJ and the coils were just too stiff and the ride was too harsh for my taste. I took out the coils and put in some 06 rubicon coils and some 2" spacers and used them with the 4" shocks. I had limiters set 1/4 of an inch before full shock extension and I used coil spring retainers. It flexed like crazy and never popped a spring. The ride was so much better, best choice ever. I think the 4" spring will be fine. Worse case, you put on some retainers. done deal.
