Default BFG Crawlers

Anyone tried the BFG crawlers? How do they work for all around wheeling. What are they like on the road?

Reds are probably about one of the best all around tires you can get, and super sticky on the rocks. I'm running the 39s on my buggy...

Blues perform pretty well for a radial, and, from what I've heard/seen, wear pretty well if you're DD'ing it too...

On the rocks - one of the best
On the trails - decent
On the road - not a great road tire
very heavy (read can be hard on your drivetrain)
blues - wear relatively well, but not as good as other more road oriented tires
reds - good for about 1500 miles of pavement (or less) - incredible traction on hard surfaces

If you do alot of highway, they will not last. The new BFG M/T comes out next month, and they seem to have a good tread pattern and would be better for durability on road.

X2.

I'm waiting on these too in 37x12.50x17. I emailed BFG a few weeks ago and they say they'll be available in Sept. We'll see.

Not to sound like a dumb ass...... But what is the difference between the reds and blues other than the color?
