Default BFG gear ratio calculator

While hunting around for tires, I came across this calculator... http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgapp/popups/demos/demos_pickuptruck_0.jsp

It gives some easy calculations of how gear ratios change with tire size...... which might be of some use to everyone. Enjoy.

Very interesting...

A Rubicon with 35" tires will have a 3.75 ratio!!!

Therefore, I have a better ratio with my actual 33" tires

I guess that goes to show you how much a few tenths make a difference with the gear ratio, because I felt like I had no power before I got 5.13s on my Rubicon after upgrading to 35 inch tires.

Seems about right for the axle ratio change when going with larger tires. I currently have 4.10 with 33's but will be going to 35's for my next tire change. My plan is to go with 5.13 gears and that looks to be about right for 35-37's.
