Default BFG KM2 Question.

Does anyone have any problems with this tire giving off slight vibrations around 50-65 MPH? I ask because I just put on 35x12.50x15 on my jeep and I think they are giving me a slight vibrations that comes and goes. It does it when I am on the gas, off the gas, and in neutral coasting. Will this go away as the tires get more miles on them?

Now maybe it could be my driveshaft I just installed a 2.5" coil lift with front lower control arms set at 23" eye and I still have stock drive shafts. I also have rear upper control arms set so the pinion is pointed straight towards to transmission. But what throws me for a loop is the vibration doesn't change when I give it gas, let off the gas and put it in neutral.

Any input would be great

Well I don't know what help this will be, but I run KM2's as well, 35 12.5 15, same exact thing. I only have a 1 3/4" spacer kit. I have the same issue and always have, I WAS thinking ball joints mabe. Funny thing is I can guage the vibration from my shifter (6 speed) by how much it shakes. Same thing though, itll vibrate like hell at 55 or so, then disappear after and before. Probably a very slight balancing issue IMO.

I used to struggle with vibes on mudgrips, that increased with size. That was back in the 15" days. Now that there are biger rims, it seems to have reduced a LOT,. Less rubber and sidewall maybe?

Yup, I also get the same slight vibration with my 35"x12.50x15" KM2's at 60 - 65 mph.
Never noticed it when I was running my 35"x12.50x17" Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's.
I'd agree, it feels like a balancing issue.
Seems to go away when on a really smooth flat- top.

Thanks everyone! I think I might try to get them balanced again to see if it gets any better, if not I will just live with it.

Maybe its just the treads humming? Also it feels like it gets a little worse when I run lower PSI, any thoughts?

best best thing you would do is to put your original tire on to see its is you you new lift the problem like bad camber on toe in toe out !!! and normaly when shacking at a precise millage most of time is the wheel need to be balance or maybe do aligment ... i run 37 km2 for year and half and no problem very quiet on higway good millage versus other brand and very quiet versus nitto mud grappler

My honest opinion is I beleive all mud terrains are going to have a slight vibration. Its the tread patterns and deep lugs. But thats my 2 cents.

Ya I am thinking that too, but I just want to make sure its not my driveshafts. Thanks
