You will need to run wheel spacers with those or you'll have some issues with rubbing.
I just saw that on their site... Cost of some 1.5" Spacers, and the increase cost of the tires would probably equal about half the cost of the new rims... Maybe I need to find some cheaper wheels besides the Pintlers I love so much.

I have the KM2's in 35, awesome tire, I love them and have zero regrets.

Their pretty quiet on the street, better than the stock Rubi's imo but they have increased a little from being chuncked a little on the rocks.

FYI the KM2 has about a 33% increase in sidewall strength over the previous KM. I've run mine at 12 psi and had people tell me they looked like they had to much air in them

I am running 35's on a DD and you will regret going to 33's. You will instantly wish you had gone a bit bigger and the price per tire is marginal. I have the BFG's and I am not kidding, I use my lockers LESS and in some cases not at all on the trial. YOu will love them but go with the 35's.

Here is a pic with the wife and the baby seat installed with my 2 year old. She is not fond of the 4 inch lift and 35's but its not bad. She is now pregnant again and she still gets in it just fine.

The only reason I dont want to go with 35s is i dont want to regear, and I already think my Auto is underpowered... I drive 20miles each way to work on a interstate that the speed limit is 65mph, and every weekend during the summer drive to a beach 120miles away thats speed limit is 70mph, so I am on the highway ALOT....

That is a very good point. But I still think you would be happier with the crappy perfromance and 35's cause you can always regear next year.

Either way you will love the BFG's MUDS ALL THE WAY and they are a great everyday tire too.

Just came back from Moab this weekend and you won't believe where 35" KM2's will go unlocked. Two weeks ago was in the Ouray area and encountered snow (already !) and they did great. The only agresive tire that I know of that's quieter on the road is the STT (which I have on my work truck) and they're not on my JK because I've cut the sidewalls on rocks that wouldn't begin to phase the KM2's. I've had them in driving rain and sand dunes too. There are better pure mudders but the KM2 is the best all around off road tire there is. I'd buy another set in a heartbeat. I would reconsider my 35's and may go with 37's next time around.

Personally I wouldn't go with the 33's; ground clearance is just too important. I carry a lot in my 4dr (recovery gear, camping gear and fuel) and ordered a set of the RE rear springs from the 4.5" LA kit (I have the RE 3.5 SF) because I'm a little low in the rear. I forget whether you mentioned whether you had a 2 or 4 dr; but in the west a JK really wants a 3 or 4" lift and 35's or 37's. In fact a lot of times with the above lift and tires the additional WB of the 4 dr really seems a plus.

But enough rambling; get the KM2's they're great.

I like mine too. 5000 miles on the street and they still look new. Since you have an unlimited you might think about the 35's. I have 33's and i think they look fine on a 2dr, maybe a little small on a 4dr.

Two of the vehicles I was out with this weekend were stock 4 dr Rubi's with 32's. Another 1/2" from going to 33's wouldn't have helped them much. It was actually very good because my wife said "now I know why you wanted the 35's so much". 4 drs really NEED 35's.

As an aside there were two FJ's there too. They don't go 4-wheelin' - they go 2 or 3 wheelin'. One was stock and one had a 4" lift and 34's. Neither could keep their tires on the ground. In places where I'd have all four tires on the ground they'd have one tire 6" to a foot of the ground. IFS sucks. If Jeep goes IFS I'll be driving used Jeeps; or a Land Rover Defender.

I've been researching larger tires since February (when I bought). I hate the idea of buying new shoes while the KMs are still OK, so waiting to wear them down.

KM2s are my next choice, in conjunction with a 2.5in coil lift and some spacers.

Cheers.
