I can tell you that the 285 70 Duratracs look a lot wider than the 285 70 BFG ko2's. We were just comparing them today. And 10.50 is supposed to be skinnier than a 285. Also the 315 70's look way bigger, like a few inches taller.

I just switched from 285/70 BFG KOs to 34x10.5 KO2s and could not be happier! My JK steers easier, rides better and I have noticed a slight bump up in MPG. They measure about 32 1/4 at 34psi. I measured the 285s before I took them off and at 32PSI at pax 30% tread left they measured 31 1/4 inches tall. The new 34s also weigh about 5 lbs less per tire. I have them mounted on Quadratec 17x8.5 Moab rims and I'm running AEV 2.5 suspension with AEV front and rear bumpers.
I do a lot of daily driving on the pavement and prob 10% off road and this combination is proving to work well.

If my KM2's ever wear out, I'm probably going to a set of those. Your Jeep looks fantastic with that wheel/tire combo. Could you post a few more full Jeep pics from a couple angles? My KM2's are 33"s and they fit perfectly with the OEM wheels, but I may go for a set of those Quadratec rims at some point.

Thanks!

if you like the 34x10.5s look also at the 285 75 17. Its the same height and just a tad wider. About like combining the width of your 285 70 17 and the height of the 34x10

If the 34x10-1/2 -17 KO2s are the same as 255/80-17 KM2s then the 285/75-17-17 is noticeably taller and wider.

Here is a pic of the old 255/80 and the new 285/75 both KM2s for comparison.
