Default BFG Rugged Terrain?

Anyone running BFG Rugged Terrain tires? I'm thinking about getting them in 285/70R17 to put on my stock Rubi rims. What do you guys think?

Well, a few things:

- They're a new tire. The old Rugged Trails had problems with the rubber falling off the sidewalls. No kidding. Terrible. Hope that's fixed.

- They offer 2 versions in that size, a P and an LT. The LT is an E-rated tire for heavy duty pickups and would ride very rough on your Jeep. The P should be fine.

- The tread design looks good for a mostly on road vehicle. They'll probably wear like iron; the old Rugged Trails did, other than the sidewalls.

If you go for it, let us know how you like them.

Thanks for the info! I think I've decided to go with duratracs instead as long as the wife lets me shell out the extra cash.
