The fins are cool though, and I have been looking to see what else might go there, just to be different.

 

Sure you didn't ask for it but in my opinion, if you think those bumpers are "ugly", you should have bought something other that a Jeep. Yes! It IS a Jeep thing.

 

My opion is you can do your own thing since it is YOUR JEEP!!! That YOU PAY FOR AND YOU maintain and YOU can take off YOUR nipples if YOU want. All because it is an extension of YOURSELF and YOUR personality. Can't believe everyone downing <(maybe wrong word) what YOU want to do to YOUR JEEP. if you don't like them take them off. MAKE IT YOURS!

 

Please tell me you didn't "Chrome" the Windshield Tie-down.

 

I'm modding my JK to please me, not anyone else. If I was afraid of offending others with my choices, I would just leave her stock, and call it a day.

For the short time that I have been a member of the Jeep world (about 8 months now), one thing that I have learned (possibly incorrectly according to some of the posts here) is that modding your JK is not only for the functional aspects, but also for the asthetics. I took my nipples off because I like the look (asthetics). As the the functional side - I now get 5 mpg more on the highway (less drag).

To put it another way - as Backroadman said - my Jeep, my money, my mods. If you like your nipples, keep them - I chose to take mine off, life goes on.

Britjk - I do agree with the chrome thing - I may be nippleless, but will not be adding any chrome - in this life or the next.

hell I was thinking of adding two extra ones because when I lfit my hood up and lay it all the way back it scratches both the top of the windshield area and the hood. so if you don't want your nipples I'd kindly take them off your hands and add them to my JK lol...

 

Augmentation, I like it! If it works why not make it bigger, I think that has room in the Jeep world ie: Tires, Axles, Gears..... why not nipples!
