Default Biggest tire on stock wheels

I actually like the stock 17 x 7.5 wheels that came on my X - S package. I will be upgrading to a 33 or 34" tire. If I get the Spidertrax wheel spacers, can I fit a 12.5" wide tire, or do I need a thinner tire? Also, will the 12.5 wide tire fit on the spare tire carrier?

Yes - with the 1.5" wheel spacer, you will have spaced the rim outboard enough to clear 12.5" section width tires on the stock rims.

We're running 34's on our expedition vehicles. The exact size is 305/70 17 which works out to like 12 inches. We have Tera Flex 1.25 inch spacers. The tires are on stock rims.

There are many guys that are even running 37's here with no probs.
