There is a ton of guys on this forum running 33's with no lift. I dont know what that number would break down as, maybe like a 290/75/17 or something like that.

32" if you want the dealer to be able to recalibrate your speedometer.

34" I believe but you will need an aftermarket programmerto adjust the speedometer.

Thanks for the responses. Just bought my JK about a week ago and am stoked about getting started on the personalization of it. I've had a few tell me that I can only go with a 265 65 17 without at least a small lift, good to know that I should be able to go a little bigger.

285 or 305 as the first number on the tire is equivalent to a 33 fyi.

Here is an easy to use formula for calculating tire size form metric to inches

Tires converstion equation..PXXX/YYRZZ equals (((XXX/25.6)*0.YY)*2)+ZZ
eg, p255/75R17 = (255/25.6)*.75)*2)+17=31.94

A BB or budget boost is very inexpensive and can allow a few more options for you when it comes to tire size.

Welcome to the club!

Thanks Tambil,
That does clear up some confusion. It seems like tire sizes should be a little bit easier to understand.
