Default Biggest tires on stock axles?

Without considering lift, what is the biggest tires stock Dana axles can take before any damage? Right now I have stock Dana axles on a 2012 JKU and I am running 35" tires. I am thinking 39 or 40" next go around. I do run off road occasionally, and I make a few trips a year to rock crawl in south Texas.
Thank you all for any input or experiences!

Thanks. That's the info I wanted to know. I may just stick with 37" next time. I love the badass stance with the 40" tires. My wife gets tired of me throwing money at my jeep. Now I have slow down. The best part is she never knows what things cost. So a Dana 60 to her may be a few hundred bucks. Hahahaha.

X2. I personally wouldn't go over a 35" tire with a D30, 37" with a D44, and a D60 for anything bigger. Not to say that it won't work for many, but I prefer peace of mind. Driving style and terrain definitely play into this as well.

35 are the way to go not to much strain on axles
